At Fred Rogers Productions, we believe in the power of high-quality children’s media to spark curiosity, nurture social and emotional growth, and strengthen the important work of educators everywhere.
Through this Advisory, we aim to bring together a diverse group of passionate educators who can help us shape the resources and experiences that reach children and families across the country. Advisory members collaborate with FRP’s Education, Production, and Engagement teams to share insights on child development, learning, and the social-emotional needs of children and families.
As a member of the Advisory, you will:
- Take a deep dive into our series and educational frameworks;
- Share real-time insight from your professional experiences;
- Co-create new activities and resources inspired by our content; and
- Serve as an ambassador for our mission in your community.
Advisory members will engage directly with the creators and producers of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Donkey Hodie, Alma’s Way, and other FRP series to ensure our work continues to connect meaningfully with children, caregivers, and educators everywhere.
We invite educational practitioners from across the learning and education field to apply with an interest in children’s media, learning, and whole child development to apply. As well as those in the parent/caregiver/family/community engagement field. Advisory members will serve a two-year term and participate in a series of virtual and in-person discussions with the FRP team.
Please review the Terms and Conditions before applying. By submitting this application, you acknowledge your agreement to them.
